RunGood’s Golden Expedition Heads to MGM National Harbor, With Hoagie Joining as an Ambassador


The RunGood Poker Series returns to MGM National Harbor from September 21–27, 2026 for its Golden Expedition. The seven-day series features 12 ring events, a mix of tournament formats, and a $1,300 Main Event with a $250,000 guaranteed prize pool. RunGood’s official schedule has the full lineup.

Nerdthusiast’s own Anthony “Hoagie” Cicali III, a BetRivers content creator, will be an official RunGood ambassador for the series. Fans can play alongside Hoagie on opening night in the $300 Tag Team Ring Event, which costs $150 per player. Bring a partner and join him at the tables when the event begins at 6:15 p.m. on Monday, September 21.

Events to Watch

  • Monday, September 21 — Tag Team Ring Event: The $300-per-team event opens the series at 6:15 p.m. and gives players their first shot at a Golden Expedition ring.

  • Tuesday, September 22 — Seniors and Ambassador Bounty: The $400 Seniors No-Limit Hold’em event starts at 10:15 a.m. with a $25,000 guarantee. At 6:15 p.m., the $250 Ambassador Double Green Chip Bounty Ring Event adds a different way to compete for a ring.

  • Wednesday, September 23 — PokerNews PowerStack: The $400 PowerStack offers two starting flights, at 10:15 a.m. and 4:15 p.m., with a $50,000 guarantee. Players who advance return for the Day 2 finals on Thursday.

  • Thursday, September 24 through Sunday, September 27 — Main Event: The $1,300 Main Event has starting flights Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 11:15 a.m. Survivors return Sunday at 12:15 p.m. to play for a share of the $250,000 guaranteed prize pool. View the event schedule.

The week also includes Five Card PLO, Big O, a Women’s No-Limit Hold’em event, and bounty tournaments, giving players plenty of options beyond the Main Event.

Satellite Opportunities

Players looking for another route into the action can check out Monday’s $420 RunGood Package Satellite and the $200 Flip & Go Main Event Satellites listed as available on demand throughout the week. A Ring Could Open the Door to the Dream Seat

There is another reason to chase a RunGood ring at MGM National Harbor. RunGood ring winners are eligible for its champions-only $300 Dream Seat Invitational, scheduled for December 2 during the Dream Factory Festival at Thunder Valley Casino Resort, November 27–December 3, 2026.
