New York Comic Con 2026 Preview: What to Know Before NYCC

New York Comic Con is heading back to the Javits Center October 8–11, 2026, and this year marks the convention’s 20th anniversary. Nerdthusiast will be there too: Wes from the Nerdthusiast Gaming Podcast and Mike “LatinGman” from the Nerdthusiast Twitch team are attending. Expect plenty for fans of comics, gaming, movies, television, cosplay, and collectibles to explore. 11, 2026

What’s happening at NYCC 2026?

The anniversary celebration has a Coney Island theme, with exclusive merchandise planned around the collaboration. Across the convention, fans can visit the show floor and Artist Alley, attend panels, explore Gaming Side Quest and Cosplay Central, and check out studio experiences. NYCC says a general admission ticket includes access to more than 400 exhibitors, although some events require separate tickets or reservations. 11, 2026

• Thursday, October 8: NYCC is promoting a look at Marvel’s upcoming slate, a Crystal Lake screening, and a conversation between Alice Cooper and Stevie Van Zandt. newyorkcomiccon.com

What are the show floor hours?
The show floor is scheduled to open 10 a.m.–7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Sunday. Panels run later on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. 

Are tickets still available?
As listed on NYCC’s official site, Saturday, four-day, and VIP tickets are sold out, while Thursday and Sunday tickets remain available. Availability can change, so check the official ticket page before making plans. 11, 2026

Are celebrity autographs and photo ops included with admission?
No. Admission provides access to those areas, but autographs and photo ops cost extra. Some panels and experiences may also require reservations or separate tickets.
