Nerdthusiast Reaches 10,000 Subscribers: Thank You for Being Part of the Journey
When Nerdthusiast first started, the goal was simple: create content for people who love gaming, movies, music, conventions, collectibles, poker, and all things nerd culture. We wanted to build a community where passionate fans could come together, share their interests, and celebrate the hobbies they love.
Today, we're proud to announce that Nerdthusiast has officially surpassed 10,000 subscribers on YouTube.
This milestone represents far more than a number on a screen. It represents years of dedication from our contributors, hosts, writers, editors, streamers, and most importantly, the incredible community that continues to support us every step of the way.
To everyone who has watched a video, listened to a podcast, shared a post, attended a livestream, or simply told a friend about Nerdthusiast—thank you.
The Growth of the Nerdthusiast Network
As our audience has grown, so has the amount of content we produce.
One of our newest additions is the dedicated Nerdthusiast Gaming channel, hosted by Matt and Wes. The channel serves as the home for our gaming-focused podcasts and long-form gaming discussions. While clips and highlights will continue to appear on the main Nerdthusiast channel, subscribers looking for full episodes and gaming-first content should be sure to follow the dedicated gaming platform.
Our Twitch community remains an important part of the Nerdthusiast family as well. While recent life events—including marriages, growing families, and new career opportunities—have naturally impacted content schedules for some of our contributors, the team continues to host livestreams regularly, primarily on Friday nights. We fully expect to continue expanding our live content offerings in the months ahead.
Podcasts Continue to Thrive
The Nerdthusiast Poker Podcast remains one of the cornerstones of our network.
Hosted by Brian and Hoagie, the show has grown into one of the most recognized poker podcasts in the Northeast, attracting players, industry personalities, and poker fans from across the region. The podcast continues to provide entertaining conversations, industry insights, and discussions on the ever-evolving poker landscape.
Meanwhile, Ed and Frank continue developing new content for our music-focused podcast, while Nick and Nathan are actively working on future movie discussions and entertainment-focused programming.
The diversity of voices across our podcast lineup remains one of the biggest strengths of the Nerdthusiast brand.
Expanding Beyond Traditional Content
Over the past year, we've also increased our focus on short-form content across YouTube and social media.
Our audience has embraced everything from arcade game reviews and movie popcorn bucket showcases to convention coverage, retro gaming discoveries, collectibles, unique attractions, and the countless unexpected stops we encounter during our nerdy adventures.
These shorter videos allow us to share more experiences with our community while continuing to highlight the hobbies and fandoms that make Nerdthusiast unique.
Convention Coverage Remains a Priority
One of the things we enjoy most is bringing our audience directly to the events we attend.
Whether it's gaming conventions, comic conventions, fan expos, movie events, or specialty gatherings, Nerdthusiast remains committed to providing first-hand coverage through vlogs, interviews, walkthroughs, and on-location reporting.
Our goal has always been to make viewers feel like they're experiencing these events alongside us, and that mission will continue moving forward.
Welcoming Called It Media
We're also excited to announce a new partnership with Called It Media.
Through this collaboration, Nerdthusiast contributors will participate in special one-off shows that blend entertainment, gaming, pop culture, and prediction market discussions. These projects provide a fun opportunity to showcase the expertise and personalities that our audience has come to know over the years.
We're excited to share more details as these projects continue to develop.
New Articles Every Friday
Beyond video and podcast content, the Nerdthusiast Blog continues to grow.
Readers can expect a brand-new article every Friday covering gaming, movies, conventions, collectibles, technology, poker, and other topics that matter to our community. The blog has become an important extension of our brand, allowing contributors to explore topics in greater depth while providing fresh content throughout the week.
Looking for Collaborators, Sponsors, and New Voices
As Nerdthusiast continues to grow, we're always looking for new opportunities.
We're actively seeking sponsors and brand partners that align with our audience and our passion for nerd culture. Whether you're involved in gaming, collectibles, entertainment, technology, conventions, or pop culture, we'd love to explore potential partnerships.
We're also open to guest appearances, convention coverage opportunities, media invitations, panel discussions, podcast collaborations, and special event coverage.
Additionally, we're still searching for the right personalities to launch a wrestling-focused podcast under the Nerdthusiast banner. Finding hosts who share our passion, energy, and community-first mindset remains a priority as we continue expanding our content lineup.
The Next Chapter Starts Now
Reaching 10,000 subscribers is a major milestone, but it's also just the beginning.
The Nerdthusiast team has never been more excited about the future. With new content, new partnerships, expanded coverage, and a growing community, we're looking forward to seeing where the next chapter takes us.
From everyone at Nerdthusiast, thank you for your support, your encouragement, and your passion.
Here's to the next 10,000.
Stay Nerdy.
