🐐 Jada Toys Becomes Toy Partner for GOAT: What It Means for Collectors & Movie Fans
By Nerdthusiast
Big news dropped in the worlds of movies and collectibles and this one hits both sides of what we love here at Nerdthusiast. Jada Toys has officially been named the Master Toy Licensee for the upcoming animated action-comedy GOAT, that arrived exclusively in theaters February 13, 2026.
The partnership teams Jada Toys with Sony Pictures Consumer Products to bring the film’s characters and sports-themed world to toy shelves. And honestly? This feels like one of those properties that’s going to live both as a movie and a collectible line , similar to how certain 80s and 90s animated movies ended up becoming toy shelf legends.
The Toy Line – What We’re Getting
Jada Toys is producing a full collectible line inspired by the film’s roster of animal athletes. The toys are scheduled to begin hitting retailers Spring 2026, and they’re clearly aiming at both kids and adult collectors , which is exactly the lane Nerdthusiast lives in.
Here’s what we know so far:
-
Action figures based on the film’s main characters
-
Collectibles featuring the sports teams and players
-
Each figure includes a Roarball accessory (the sport played in the movie)
-
Designed for play and display
-
Available through major retailers including Amazon and Walmart
Jada has built a reputation with collectors for detailed sculpts and licensed pop-culture releases, so expectations are already pretty high for this line.
About the Movie
GOAT comes from Sony Pictures Animation (the studio behind Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse), and it’s not just a kids movie , it’s a sports underdog story wrapped in an animated comedy.
The film follows Will, a small goat who gets a chance to play in the professional league of Roarball ... a fast, full-contact sport dominated by much larger and stronger animals. His teammates doubt him immediately, but Will’s goal is to prove one thing:
“Smalls can ball.”
The movie is directed by Tyree Dillihay with production involvement from Rodney Rothman and even NBA superstar Stephen Curry which actually explains why the sports angle feels authentic.
Nerdthusiast Movie Thoughts
We’ll save our full review for a dedicated post, but the Nerdthusiast team recently saw the movie and enjoyed it. It has that classic sports-movie energy mixed with modern animation humor , think underdog story meets Saturday morning cartoon energy.

Of course… we didn’t leave empty-handed.
The Nerdthusiast crew also grabbed the theater popcorn bucket tied to the movie and yes, we filmed it.
Final Thoughts
This feels like a movie designed to exist beyond the theater toys, collectibles, and probably display pieces are going to be a big part of the fandom. If the figures land the way Jada’s recent lines have, collectors will definitely want to keep an eye out this spring.
