Bellagio Casino to Host Cardplayer Lifestyle's Mixed Game Festival VIII
This summer, the Cardplayer Lifestyle's Mixed Game Festival is set to attract even more poker enthusiasts as it relocates to a new, prestigious venue. Announced by Cardplayer Lifestyle founder Robbie Strazynski, the Mixed Game Festival VIII will take place at the Bellagio from June 16-20, 2024.
Previously hosted at the Westgate, a respected venue in its own right, the festival's move to the Bellagio places it in the heart of the Las Vegas summer poker scene. With the World Series of Poker (WSOP) happening across the street at Paris/Horseshoe and several other poker series within walking distance, this new location is expected to boost attendance significantly.
The anticipation surrounding the festival’s next edition has been building for months. Strazynski shared, "For months, I’ve been approached by dozens of mixed-game players wondering if the festival would happen. Well, folks, the answer is a resounding YES! Let’s all show up in droves and enjoy everything mixed-game poker has to offer at the Bellagio, one of the world’s premier poker destinations!"
The Bellagio, celebrating its 25th anniversary, is equally excited to host the event. Craig Larson, Director at Bellagio Poker, expressed, "Bellagio Poker is thrilled to team with the Mixed Game Festival this summer. It’s a wonderful opportunity for us to introduce Bellagio and Bellagio poker to a new level of mixed-game players. We see mixed-game players as a growing and welcome group of guests, and look forward to hosting the festival in June."
Moneymaker Tour Joins as Grand-Prize Sponsor
Adding to the excitement, the Moneymaker Tour has signed on as a grand-prize sponsor for the festival. This sponsorship includes giveaways of several seats to side events in its upcoming series at MGM Grand in June, located just a short walk down the Vegas Strip. This series will begin shortly after the Cardplayer Lifestyle Mixed Game Festival concludes.
Tony Burns, Executive Manager of the Moneymaker Tour, congratulated Cardplayer Lifestyle on securing the Bellagio venue. “Chris and the Moneymaker Tour share a passion for the growth of mixed games in our industry. What better way to help that growth than through supporting the Cardplayer Lifestyle Mixed Game Festival at the Bellagio this summer.”
Coverage and Sponsorships
PokerOrg will provide interactive coverage throughout the festival's five days, including videos, pictures, player interviews, and more via their "Instant Live" feed. Other supporters and sponsors of Mixed Games Festival VIII include Pokercoaching.com, PokerGO, RunGoodGear, D&B Poker Publishing, BBO Poker Tables, and Faded Spade Playing Cards.
Promoting Mixed Games Growth
Strazynski remains a dedicated advocate for the growth of mixed games within the poker industry. Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, his series has become a staple of the Vegas poker scene. In a recent interview with PokerOrg, he expressed his enduring love for mixed games and poker in general.
Details about the Cardplayer Lifestyle Mixed Game Festival VIII have been released, showcasing several tables of mixed-games cash action starting at $4/$8. The festival will also feature numerous giveaways, appearances by notable pros, and the welcoming pizza party that has become a Mixed Game Festival tradition.
The Bellagio's premier location and the involvement of the Moneymaker Tour promise to make this year's Mixed Game Festival an unmissable event for both seasoned players and newcomers eager to learn and enjoy mixed games.
