Robert Plant-The lead singer of Led Zeppelin who has also reinvented himself several times with various other musical projects after the band dissolved upon the death of drummer John Bonham has always been known for his powerful voice. Songs highlighting his special voice-Nobody’s Fault But Mine, Kashmir and Since I’ve Been Loving You.
Chris Cornell-The late frontman for Soundgarden, Audioslave and Temple of the Dog also flourished with some solo projects. Ironically enough, the last song he performed before his death was the iconic Led Zeppelin song, In My Time of Dying. When it comes to lists, there will always be an argument out there that someone else should have made the list or been excluded from the list. I’m not here to debate that. I realize that even though I have an eclectic taste in music that there are certain genres of music that I don’t care for and therefore have excluded male singers from those genres. It’s nothing personal. I respect great singing talent no matter what type of music is being sung. That is why I entitled it MY Top 7. Who are your favorites?
