Green Power Ranger Death Raises Funds for Suicide Awareness

One local comic shop is helping to raise money for a well known hero. Jeff Beck owner and operator of East Side Mags comic book shop in New Jersey is helping to raise funds in honor of the late Green Power Ranger Jason David Frank.

"He has visited our store multiple times and the news hit hard when it was released," says Beck.

When Jason David Frank was on location for his appearances he had signed multiple items in January and July of 2022. Beck has decided to donate 50% of all proceeds from every purchase of a JDF signed item (limit 2 per person) to 988lifeline.org.

According to the suicide prevention site:

"988 has been designated as the new three-digit dialing code that will route callers to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. While some areas may be currently able to connect to the Lifeline by dialing 988, this dialing code will be available to everyone across the United States starting on July 16, 2022."

Jeff’s store East Side Mags is located at 491 Bloomfield Ave Suite 102 in Montclair NJ and can also be found on social media @ EastSideMags. Please consider supporting this amazing organization and if you need help, please call "988" and talk to someone. They do amazing work. You are NOT alone.

Nerdthusiast Toys and Collectibles Show plans on visiting the comic book shop and interviewing the owner on Dec. 27 2022. Nerdthusiast are huge Power Ranger fans and will be discussing Jason David Frank and more when they make their visit. Check out our recent Nerdthusiast Power Ranger Toy review.
