The return of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas party is finally here! This party has been gone since 2019, and we are so happy to see the magic returning. The party will be happening on select dates at Magic Kingdom from November 8th through December 22nd. This is an after-hours event that requires a separate paid ticket. Tickets will go on sale July 7th and are sure to sell out quickly. Prices range from $149- $199 for adults and $139-$189 for children 3-9 years old. The dates are as follows,

  • November 8th December 1st

  • November 10th December 2nd

  • November 11th December 4th

  • November 14th December 6th

  • November 15th December 8th

  • November 17th December 9th

  • November 18th December 11th

  • November 19th December 13th

  • November 22nd December 15th

  • November 27th December 16th

  • November 29th December 18th

  •                                                 December 20th

  •                                                 December 22nd

So what happens during the party? There will be complimentary treats, cookies and hot cocoa, as well as exclusive party treats for purchase around the park. There will be a castle show, Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks, and of course the iconic Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. In past years, the castle shows multiple times through the night as well as two showings of the parade. The fireworks typically only happen once, so keep your eyes peeled on the schedule. As soon as the schedule is released, I will let everyone know how to have the best party ever!

Other surprises during the party are exclusive character meets, dance parties, and special overlays on a few of your favorite rides. Jungle Cruise also becomes the amazing Jingle Cruise, with a totally festive look and even some festive jokes from our Skippers! In honor of the 50th, guests will also receive a commemorative holiday keepsake.

Epcot has announced the return of the Festival of The Holidays. This will include the candlelight Processional beginning Nov, 25th. The Processional has not announced their narrators as of yet, so will keep an eye out for that. The Cookie Stroll will also be back this year! The brand new Cosmic Rewind will also have a brand new playlist for the holidays with some awesome holiday remixes.

The holiday fun does not stop at Epcot and Magic Kingdom although they are the heart of the magic. The Tower of Terror will get some awesome Holiday projections and a Merry Motorcade featuring Santa! Santa is a busy man and will also be on a flotilla in Animal Kingdom through the season as well. As always the resorts will have their gorgeous Christmas trees on display. Be sure to stop by the Contemporary and a few other resorts to see the beautiful Gingerbread houses as well. A full list of where to come! There’s also the Christmas Tree Stroll at Disney Springs.

When attending the Christmas party last year, I can say it was more magical than Disney usually is. It truly is a unique experience, and one that every Holiday lover should see once. Keep an eye on the blog for my How To for the best Holiday Experience in Disney as we get closer. For now, keep an eye on my twitter and the hashtag #HalfwayToTheHolidays to stay in the know!
