Top Ways to Display Your Collection

Looking for a way to display your collection, well here are a few options to boost your setup no matter what level collector you are.

1. Cube Displays - First we have your basic cube display, which are grid displays that are great for elevating and presenting a variety of pieces. These displays come in a multitude of sizes, starting with a basic 1x1 and can be as large as 6x6. These can be displayed side by side, on top of one another, in really any combination you can think of, which truly makes them so versatile. What adds to how great these pieces are, is their availability. With most big retailers carrying these displays, they come in many different colors and styles, all ranging in prices, but nothing too high that it will break the bank. As well as making great display pieces, these a
lso have the ability for storage. By adding a simple fabric container box which not only fit perfectly, but look good too, you now have given yourself more options to work with. Lastly let's not forget about the top of these cube displays, a perfect space for larger pieces, or just more storage, the choice is up to you.

2. Adjustable Shelving - This one may an obvious one but it still has to be said, shelves. With so many options ranging from color, finish, size and style, the combinations are endless. Adjustable shelves give you the ability to fit the space you have in only a few and easy steps. Being able to have multiple shelves and adjust the distance between each of them, you can put a variety of pieces on each shelf all while having the ability to change them in just a few minutes. So if you're looking for a great way to display your collection, check your local Home Depot or Lowes and see what shelves would work for you.

3. Ikea Detolf Glass-door Cabinet - Now we move onto one of my favorite display pieces, Ikea's Detolf glass cabinet. If you are looking for an upgrade from your current setup, this is my personal pick. I myself have 4 of them, and I wish I had room for more. These glass cabinets not only look great, but function great as well. Standing at a little over five feet high, there are 3 glass shelves inside, splitting the cabinet into 4 sections, giving you multiple options of what pieces you want to put where. With a predrilled hole in the top piece, you can install lighting with ease, highlighting your pieces even more. I personally use LED puck lighting from Amazon and they work great. But if you want more accent lighting, there are many options available online from multiple LED pucks in each case, to LED strips for each shelf, the only choice is yours. With many collectors using this cabinet though, stock has been very limited at Ikea, as well as the MSRP being increase from $60 to $80, but it is still worth the money. If you are worried about an all glass cabinet being delicate, I am here to tell you this isn't thin glass that you have to worry about. So if you are looking to make an upgrade to your collection, I highly recommend these cabinets.

4. Moducase - Finally we come to Moducase, the high end option for your collection. Moducases are top of the line, museum quality displays for your pieces. These displays are exactly what they say they are, modular. Meaning you can build and create whatever arrangement of sizes that you want. Moducase sells all types of options, from single displays, to bundles of displays, to wall combinations. And for those truly looking for the perfect fit for their collection, you can create your own custom displays, all with the help of a Moducase expert. They truly are some of, if not THE best displays available. The price ranges from the low 100s to 1000s, all depending on what model of display you choose, and how large of a display you plan to build. So if you are a serious collector, and looking to take that next step, Moducase may be the solution you have been looking for.
