Halloween starts early in New Jersey. The Showboat Hotel in Atlantic City will be hosting the New Jersey Horror Convention Film Festival Sept 3 -5.
" This is my first Horror Con," says Matt Lopresti of Maple Shade NJ. " I have been a huge horror fan my whole life, so I am looking forward to seeing all the different things the convention has to offer."
Horror fans will enjoy many attractions including: Independent Horror Film Screenings , Photo Ops with Directors, Actors and Actresses , Exclusive Merchandise and Cosplay, Q & A Sessions
One of the biggest attractions to the horror con is the the ability nerd out as fans. Guests get to meet actors and actresses, get autographs and talk about their favorite films. Some of the appearances include:
Kerri Green - The Goonies
Ke Huy Kuan - The Goonies
Tom Arnold - Freddy's Dead
Sean Patrick Flanery - Saw
" This is a great event to network with other horror actors," says Joe Samero of the Human Hibachi franchise. "I am going there to support our film, but it's also a great place to get inspired and meet different people in the industry."
The event will host 3 days of independent films and includes an award ceremony on Saturday night at 7 PM. Here is a look at the film line up:
